Wake And Ballast Boats

In 2020, the State of New Hampshire held public hearings and convened a group to study the impact of Ballast, or Wake boats on NH Lakes. The group's conclusions were inconclusive, noting the impact of the boats, the inability to define what a Ballast Boat is, and the conflict of interests in allowing lakes to independently regulate these types of boats. This study group does not close the door on this discussion -- the political process continues.
