Lake Host Program

The NH LAKES Lake Host Program is our first line of defense in protecting our lake from invasive species that could reduce the water quality of our beloved lake. 

Lake hosts take shifts at the boat ramp educating boaters and inspecting watercraft to make sure that boats that enter Silver Lake are free of aquatic invasive species, keeping our water clean. 

We have opportunities for for both paid and volunteer Lake Hosts. Times are flexible, and it is enjoyable meeting people who arrive at the lake while simultaneously providing a vital service to our community.
